Amy is the BBS UK Patient Liaison Officer for patients and families attending BBS Clinics at University Birmingham Hospital and Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
Married to Gary and Mum to Abi, Josh, and Sienna, Amy lives in South Derbyshire. Abi’s daughter was diagnosed with BBS in 2012. Amy was motivated to join get involved in BBS UK’s activities, and first started as a volunteer before then joining as a team member in 2017. Amy has enjoyed getting to know many BBS families over the last few years by attending clinics, family days out and activity weekends set up by the charity.
Amy has always had a passion for helping children and people with disabilities, having previously worked as a midday supervisor.
