My name is Dianne Hand and I have been a Trustee since April 2015. George, the youngest of my two sons, was diagnosed with BBS at the age of 14 in 2010. After receiving tremendous emotional support from people connected with the charity and learning so much at the first conference I attended, I wanted to show my gratitude by supporting others and being a trustee enables me to do that.
For many years I was a teacher and Special Needs Co-ordinator in a primary school in Stockport so I have been able to pass on useful advice and information from Stockport’s Sensory Support Service via the newsletter and website.
I am currently part of the fundraising team so please get in touch if you can help us with this in any way, or if we can help you. Thank you.
