The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bardet-Biedl Syndrome UK was held at the Hilton Hotel, Northampton, on Sunday 24th September 2023 at 10:30am to 11:00am.
The AGM provides the Charity with the opportunity to update members on its activities, achievements and progress during the previous year. It also gives members the opportunity to vote on who they want to represent them on the Board of Trustees by electing the Honorary Officers and Trustees and to vote on important resolutions which may be put forward during the meeting. Membership is open to any adult diagnosed with BBS and his/her family; and any family with one or more children diagnosed with BBS including legal guardians, foster parents, parents by adoption and subject to the agreement of the charity trustees, carers and grandparents.
