Leave a Legacy
A legacy gift is a specific item or donation left in a Will. It’s also commonly known as ‘gifts in Wills’. Legacy gifts can be a significant way contributing to a cause you care about.
Leaving a legacy will cost nothing today, but by leaving a gift in your will, this will help BBS UK continue to provide important services for years to come.
For your will to be valid and to ensure that your wishes are carried out, we would always recommend that you seek the advice of a solicitor.

Companies can make a real difference to BBS UK, supporting our charity in a range of different ways. This can be mutually rewarding, providing rewarding development opportunities for staff.
We work in partnership with employees and businesses in many different ways, for instance:
- We could support you to design a fundraising event for your team to get involved in, to raise funds to support our work.
- You could organise a coffee morning, a cake sale or a giving day, to fund our projects.
- We have a range of volunteer roles that your staff could get involved in, helping develop skills and experiences they might not otherwise have access to, while benefitting the BBS community.

Match Giving
If you are doing a fundraising event for us, it’s worth asking if your place of work offers a match giving scheme.
Many companies will offer to match pound for pound against what you raise, and if they don’t, they might just consider supporting you with a donation instead!
