Chetan Meshram

Vice-Chair

Chetan joined as a trustee late 2022 and has been a BBS UK member for over a decade. He lives in Buckinghamshire, near the beautiful Chiltern Hills, with his wife and three daughters, one of whom, Yukta, was diagnosed with BBS at birth, inspiring his active involvement.

Professionally, Chetan works as a Lead Business Analyst in the Technology unit of a major UK bank. He has also dedicated more than 16 years to volunteering with St John Ambulance (SJA) and has led multiple teams at the SJA National Vaccination Programme. This reflects his keen interest in pre-hospital medical care and a general understanding of the healthcare system. His wide-ranging experience includes Strategy, Transformation, and several roles across Technology, Financial Services, and Volunteering. Chetan’s fascination with the marriage of technology and medicine drives his understanding of the challenges people face with BBS and other rare diseases. Simple tasks, such as getting the right support for education, career or an EHC plan, can be tough battles. Eager to connect, he’s open to conversations with parents, professionals, and advocates who share similar struggles.
