We’re thrilled to welcome Beatrice Adeogun to the BBS UK team as a new Advice Worker, joining our Advice Service.

This new role has been made possible through a generous legacy donation from the estate of Jackie Farrington, enabling us to expand the support we offer to individuals and families affected by Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS).

Beatrice brings a wealth of experience from her background as both a support worker and a qualified social worker. She has worked directly with individuals and families facing complex challenges, offering compassionate, practical support. As a parent to a disabled child herself, Beatrice also brings invaluable personal insight into the realities of navigating disability and social care systems.

At BBS UK, she will help service users access support in health, education, and social care—whether that’s assistance with benefits applications, housing issues, or planning for future needs.
