Shirin is the BBS UK Social Worker and Patient Liaison Officer for patients and families attending BBS Clinics at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Guys Hospital, London. She also works within the BBS UK Advice Service.
Shirin is a qualified Social Worker and since graduating, she has worked within the charity sector as a social worker, supporting vulnerable adults, carers, and families from BAME communities.
In 2018 Shirin returned to university and gained an MA Post-Qualifying Professional Practice, working with universities to improve standards in social work education.
